Building on the smashing success of previous Grinder Cups, this year's 3rd annual festivities will take place at the Pleasantview Outdoor Rink and Community League. The event will feature an all day hockey tournament, a silent auction, and a dinner & dance at the hall. In association with the MS Society of Edmonton, all proceeds from this years Grinder Cup will be going towards MS research. Grinder Cup Hockey Tournament- This year's tourney will start at 10am consisting of 6 teams all vying for the coveted Grinder Cup, finals at 5pm. Beers will be flowing, BBQ roasting and fire roaring all day long- Everyone welcome! After Party- There will be everything one expects and more- cheap drinks, keg beers, live music, raffle prizes, 50/50, etc. Awards and presentations will be before 9 so show up early! Doors will open at 8 and a free drink ticket before 8:30, tickets are $10 in advance and $20 at the door. Silent Auction- The silent auction will be taking place at the hall during the hockey tournament, and will close early in the evening. There will be a diverse selection of desirable items just waiting for you to bid on, so you'll want to have some cash ready for when you win!
