Biographical Sketch

I am a senior at Wesleyan University majoring in American Studies. At Wesleyan I demonstrated leadership capabilities as a three year Captain of the Men’s Hockey Team, and a commitment to public service through the activities of my fraternity (DKE- Gamma Phi). Still, my real passion is writing. In my senior spring at Phillips Exeter, I wrote a novella modeled after my experiences in Prep School. It was a coming of age piece. Since my father’s death, my mother has started writing. Her first book, historical fiction set in the first crusade, will be published by Viking Press this spring. So, I suppose writing is in my blood. While I am moving to Los Angeles after I graduate to work as an analyst for an Investment Bank, I will continue to write. I am currently working on a screenplay. I took my investment banking job in LA over New York to pursue this interest in writing.
