Sarah Christensen, administrative director of DKE Sarah has been with DKE since April of 2006. Hopefully many members have had the opportunity to meet Sarah at the convention in New Orleans or at the golf tournament this past August. If not, you may have spoken with her on the phone. Sarah is the daughter of Paul Kuzdrall '66, Omicron / Michigan, and has many childhood memories of events at the Shant - the current headquarters for DKE and the Rampant Lion Foundation.
Sarah lived in several diverse regions of North America as a child; from west Texas to London, Ontario. She has settled in Ann Arbor since coming to Michigan for college. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she was a member of the marching band. She has an MSW degree from Wayne State University. Her career has taken her from work within a variety of nonprofit social service organizations to providing organizational and systems management for DKE and RLF.
Sarah and Sara Katherine Manning-Beavin, DKE's business manager, are in the office on East William Street in Ann Arbor throughout the week. They are the people who handle everyday questions and unusual requests, and work to maintain strong and effective communications with the chapters. While you may not see them at a chapter meeting, they are willing and available resources to the chapters. They work to keep and provide accurate and current information and records. This year in particular they are forming a consistent manner for collecting chapter rosters and fees for actives and pledges. Their goal is to have a uniform process in place for the academic year 2008-2009. Sarah and Sara Katherine are eager to work with each member and each chapter to maintain the strength of the fraternity and its traditions.
